Where content meets technology

SPACE is a place for everyone who wants to work together on solutions for the media and digital economy. A 630 square metre warehouse in the heart of Hamburg's Speicherstadt historical warehouse district. This is where projects are driven forward together and innovative ideas are brought to life. Founders work on their business ideas while exchanging knowledge and experience. Here, people inspire each other, learn from each other and form strong partnerships. It's a space for bold experimentation and creative growth.

SPACE offers around 40 workstations, well-equipped meeting rooms, plenty of space for workshops and events, quiet retreats, technology expertise and a great community.

Open Desks

Take advantage of the 13 free workstations in the Open Desk area to exchange ideas with other creative minds, gain new inspiration and find solutions.

The open desk area, furnished with red color accents, consists of three long desks where people can work flexibly.

We support your business idea with free workstations in SPACE for 6 months and offer you access to a strong network.

Events at SPACE

Organize your events in the SPACE rooms. As long as they are open to our community, we are happy to host them free of charge. For closed events, we offer flexible rental options.

Media Space

You can easily record your content formats in our media space. The soundproofed 10 sqm room can be used flexibly for audio, photo or video. Send us an email with your request.

Directions & opening hours

The best way to get here is by bike or bus. The bus stop "Am Sandtorkai", where bus lines 2, 6 and 111 stop, is right outside the door. If you arrive by car, you can park in the multi-storey car park at Am Sandtorkai 6.

The SPACE is located on the 7th floor on the left-hand side. A lift is available.

Space for creativity and innovation on over 630 square metres

Ein Blick in den Eingangsbereich des SPACE. Ein großer Speicherraum mit einer langen weißen Küchzenzeile. Die modernen Einrichtung ist in Gelb- und Rosatönen gehalten.

Die Workbench befindet sich in der Mitte des lichtdurchfluteten Speichers. Die lange Tafel bietet viele Arbeitsplätze. Angrenzend sind einzelne kleinere Konferenz und Arbeitsräume.

Der Present Space befindet sich in einer Ecke des Speichers. Er ist in dem Moment von einem dunkelgrünen Vorhang vom Rest des großen Raums abgetrennt. Im Present Space sind mehrere kleine Stehtische zu einem großen Tisch zusammengestellt. Ihn umgeben viele schwarze Stehhocker aus Metall mit einem Polster in einem sanften hellen Grünton.

Ein großer Bildschirm steht ein der Ecke des Present Space. Er zeigt eine Grafik mit dem Schriftzug SPACE mit den Logos von nextMedia und der Hamburg Kreativ Gesellschaft. Der gelb-weiße Verlauf im Hintergrund der Grafik nimmt die Verläufe der Tape auf. Vor dem Bildschirm sind Sitzreihen aus ockerfarbenen Stühlen aufgebaut.

Die langen dunkelblauen Vorhänge sind halb zugezogen und trennen den dahinter liegenden Play Space etwas vom Rest des großen Speichers ab. Im Play Space sind mehrere dunkelblaue runde gepolsterte Hocker und zwei Whiteboards aufgebaut. Das seitlich einströmende Licht durchflutet den in Blautönen eingerichteten Bereich und wirft lange Schatten.

In der Mitte des kleinen pfirsichfarbenen Raums steht ein hölzerner Konferenztisch mit sechs schwarzen Stühlen. In der Ecke steht ein Bildschirm mit einer Kamera für digitale Meetings.

Zwei Wände des Media Space sind mit großen Schallabsorber Panels ausgekleidet. Vor der einen Wand ist ein kleiner Arbeitsplatz mit einem Bildschirm eingerichtet, vor der anderen Wand steht eine Couch.

Die gelben Wände des Yellow Space leuchten im Sonnenlicht. In der Mitte des Raums steht ein großer Konferenztische mit 8 schwarzen Drehstühlen und einer kleinen Tischpflanze.

Durch die großen Glasscheiben sieht man den dahinter liegenden Blue Space. Die Wände strahlen in einem intensiven Ultramarin. In der Mitte des Raumes befindet sich ein großer Tisch auf dem mehrere Arbeitsplätze eingerichtet sind.

Der mit roten Farbakzenten eingerichtete Open Desk Bereich besteht aus drei langen Arbeitstischen, an denen Personen flexibel arbeiten können.
