Through its location initiative nextMedia.Hamburg, Hamburg Kreativ Gesellschaft, in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture and Media, is bringing together decision-makers from the media and digital industries for the first time to discuss artificial intelligence. The AI Media Leaders Conference—AIM Leaders for short—is being organizedin collaboration with the media company brand eins and developed with high-profile partners from the media and digital industries. It will take place on November 27, 2025, at the Mojo Club in Hamburg. Tickets are available now.
Hamburg, May 14, 2025: Artificial intelligence is fundamentally changing processes, business models, and value chains and holds enormous potential for transformation. The media and digital industry is a major economic sector and a key driver of opinion-forming and social participation. It is already working intensively to develop and integrate artificial intelligence in a responsible and forward-looking manner in order to remain competitive and socially effective in the long term.
The new AIM Leaders format, launching this year at , aims to create new structures for better knowledge exchange and to accelerate AI developments. On the one hand, it is the first conference in the DACH region to address the topic of artificial intelligence in the media and digital economy. On the other hand, AIM Leaders serves as a catalyst for a new cross-industry network for executives who are actively shaping the future. AIM Leaders is organized by nextMedia.Hamburg in collaboration with brand eins and developed in partnership with high-profile partners.

The conference is aimed at decision-makers from the fields of print media, advertising, broadcasting, film, publishing, music, software, gaming, social media, and e-commerce. To ensure the content is practical and tailored to industry needs, numerous partners from the media and digital industries are involved in its development. This year’s partners are: Bauer Media Group, believe Digital, Carlsen Verlag, dpa German Press Agency, Funke Media Group, RTL Deutschland, Spiegel-Verlag, Territory, pilot, and the Zeit Publishing Group. Supporters also include ARIC (Artificial Intelligence Center Hamburg) and MOIN Filmförderung Hamburg Schleswig-Holstein. Discussions are underway with additional partners and supporters.
The conference program, to which brand eins contributes its business and AI expertise, focuses on the current needs and challenges facing the media and digital industries in dealing with artificial intelligence—including business models, strategic AI implementation, opportunities for collaboration, and regulatory issues. On the main stage at the Mojo Club, cross-industry strategic issues and political framework conditions will be discussed, while practical use cases will be presented in the adjacent Jazz Café. In addition, Deep Dive Stages will explore market-specific perspectives of individual submarkets—including a stage dedicated to film, organized in collaboration with MOIN Filmförderung Hamburg Schleswig-Holstein. The program is complemented by a curated selection of various formats and targeted networking opportunities that actively promote exchange among decision-makers.
