Dr. Tina Klüwer

Dr. Tina Klüwer is a recognized expert and advocate for artificial intelligence. She earned her Ph.D. in computational linguistics, the field of artificial
Intelligence, the field from which generative AI text models such as ChatGPT originate. For ten years, she conducted research and developed AI systems for chatbots, including at the
German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence. She founded her own AI startup focused on automating customer service communications, which she sold to a German medium-sized company after six years. She serves on juries, is a sought-after speaker, and engages with policymakers, including as a member of the Federal Chancellor’s Council for the Future and the Federal Association for Artificial Intelligence. Most recently, on behalf of the universities in Berlin, she led an initiative to support AI startups, which assisted more than 50 AI startups. In December 2023, she joined the Federal Ministry of Education and Research, where she heads the “Research for Technological Sovereignty and Innovation” department.
