Nurhan Şekerci-Porst is a German film producer with Turkish roots. She studied English and political science in Germany and England before switching to the film industry and began her career in 2005 at Corazón International, where she was involved in central production tasks for several films by Fatih Akin. In 2012, she co-founded the production company bombero international with Fatih Akin, where she worked as managing director and producer. Her productions include documentaries and films such as The Cut, Aus dem Nichts, Der Goldene Handschuh and Rheingold. She also co-produced Vengeance Is Mine, All Others Pay Cash by Indonesian director Edwin, which was awarded the Golden Leopard in the International Competition at the Locarno Film Festival.
In addition to her work as a producer, Şekerci-Porst was a jury member in the "Un Certain Regard" section of the Festival de Cannes in 2020. She is a member of the German Film Academy and the European Film Academy.
