Katrin Gottschalk

Katrin Gottschalk is the editor-in-chief of taz. She joined taz as deputy editor-in-chief in 2016, took over as head of digital product development in 2020, and has been one of the media company’s three editors-in-chief since November 2025. Previously, she was editor-in-chief of the feminist magazine Missy Magazine; she studied cultural studies and journalism in Frankfurt/Oder, Istanbul, and Berlin. She grew up in Dresden.
