Dr. Florian Harms

Florian Harms studied Islamic Studies and Political Science in Freiburg and Damascus, completed his doctorate on "Islamic Missionary Groups on the Internet", worked as a trainee at the Neue Zürcher Zeitung and wrote for the Süddeutsche Zeitung and the taz, among others.
After holding various positions at Spiegel Online, he was editor-in-chief of the news portal from January 2015 to December 2016. In 2017, Harms moved to the top of t-online as Editor-in-Chief and is also Managing Director of Ströer News Publishing GmbH.
In 2022, he was named "Editor-in-Chief of the Year" by kress.
