Dr. Christopher Krauß

Dr. Christopher Krauß is Media & Data Science Lead at Fraunhofer FOKUS and is one of the leading experts at the interface of artificial intelligence, media technologies and interoperable platform architectures. For over 13 years, he has been developing AI-based systems for data-driven media applications - from personalized recommendation systems to prediction models for audience behavior, which have been successfully established in the industry and in some cases patented internationally. His projects combine technological excellence with social relevance - especially in the application areas of media, education and digital sovereignty.


In addition to his research, Christopher is a lecturer at the TU Berlin and the Berlin University of Applied Sciences as well as a member of the Bitkom Learning Solutions working group. His goal is to design AI solutions for media that are open, interoperable and future-proof.
