Dan Maag

Dan Maag is a film producer and tech entrepreneur.

In 2009, he founded PANTALEON Films together with Matthias Schweighöfer and Marco Beckmann and developed the company into an internationally active media group. As a producer, he has been responsible for over 50 German and English-language cinema and series hits such as "Schlussmacher", "Der geilste Tag" and "100 Dinge". With "You Are Wanted", he realized the first German-language Amazon original series in 2016; this was followed by the global success "Army of Thieves" and the award-winning series "The Last Word" for Netflix.

In 2023, he founded the AI production studio Storybook Studios, which uses AI workflows to radically accelerate the development and production of stories and enable completely new formats.
As a pioneer at the intersection of film and artificial intelligence, Dan Maag wants to unlock the potential of this technology for the creative industry and redefine the nature of storytelling.
