150 decision-makers. Leading publishers. One key question: How do we fund the journalism of the future?
Scoopcamp brings together decision-makers from the media industry in a curated setting to discuss the economic future of journalism. The focus is on sustainable business models, strategic perspectives, and concrete real-world experiences. Compact, high-caliber, and closely attuned to the industry’s challenges, the event creates a space for exchange that goes beyond traditional conference presentations.
Curated with the Industry
scoopcamp is organized in collaboration with a Germany-wide board of leading media companies. As a result, the program and discussions address precisely the topics that are currently of concern to publishers.

scoop Award: Award for Excellence in Digital Journalism

Who is demonstrating how journalism can remain relevant in the digital space? Who is developing new formats, reaching new audiences, or creating structures that help publishers stay competitive in the future?
With the scoop Award, nextMedia.Hamburg, together with the scoopcamp Board, honors individuals and formats that provide compelling answers to these very questions.
In 2026, the award will be presented in two categories for the first time: The scoop Award for “Innovative Content” honors outstanding journalistic formats and individuals who present content in fresh, exciting, and contemporary ways. The new scoop Award for “Transformative Managers” honors individuals who are actively shaping transformation within media companies—whether strategically, economically, or culturally.
