The conference for the publishers of the future
We are once again inviting you to the annual conference for publishers, scoopcamp, in 2025. The all-day program will focus on the question: How can journalism be financed sustainably?
Experts from the field will provide exclusive insights and share their experiences on the necessary strategies and solutions. We will also look beyond the horizon to other industries in order to gain new impetus for the media sector. At the same time, the scoopcamp offers a unique opportunity for professional exchange: the audience can actively participate in discussions and reflect on experiences and challenges together.
The scoopcamp is once again being organized together with a Germany-wide board of leading media companies. These include Bauer Xcel Media, brand eins, DER SPIEGEL, dpa, DIE ZEIT, Handelsblatt Media Group, Hamburger Morgenpost, Norddeutscher Rundfunk, NOZ Digital, OMR, RND and RTL.

Together with the scoopcamp board consisting of twelve leading media companies, nextMedia.Hamburg honors two outstanding media personalities with the scoop Award with a format that exemplifies journalistic excellence and digital distribution. "OK, America?", a podcast of the DIE ZEIT brand, provides well-founded analyses of US politics from a German perspective - clever, continuous and journalistically precise. Klaus Brinkbäumer and Rieke Havertz, whose personality and expertise carry the format , have played a decisive role in its success .
The award ceremony will take place as part of the scoopcamp on September 10, 2025 at SPACE in Hamburg. Afterwards, Dr. Nina Klaß, Head of nextMedia.Hamburgm, will talk to the award winners about the podcast and how a loyal community can be built up through journalistic quality and clear positioning - and how this can contribute to the branding and refinancing of journalistic products.
