What’s it about?
The EU is currently working on far-reaching changes to digital regulation. Under the banner of the “Digital Omnibus,” laws on AI, data, data protection, and cybersecurity are set to be simplified and consolidated. But there’s criticism: Will this weaken important digital rights? And what does this mean, specifically, for our data and our privacy?

Ralf Bendrath, advisor on civil rights, justice, and home affairs for the Greens/EFA in the European Parliament. He’ll provide insights into current developments and put the planned changes into context.

Following a presentation by Ralf Bendrath, there will be time for questions and discussion. Afterward, participants will have the opportunity to draft messages to their representatives together (“Write-to-your-representatives” session).
