Context Collapse

How can we ensure successful communication in society? This is the topic of the upcoming edition of the salon series Context Collapse, hosted by the Hamburg branch of the Research Institute for Social Cohesion (FGZ).

Similar to the phenomenon of context collapse - the digital dissolution of established sub-publics and the clash of the most diverse social groups in the digital space - the event format aims to open up institutional perspectives and bring diverse backgrounds and points of view into exchange with one another.

Instead of traditional keynote speeches, the format focuses on short impulses and subsequent discussions in small groups. The central idea is to create an open space in which knowledge, experience and different perspectives are brought together. The aim is to jointly develop new, interdisciplinary approaches to central questions of democracy and society.
