What is it about?
Pro Exzellenzia lead & Career Center der TUHH invites female international students, highly qualified alumnae and role models with migration backgrounds to an inspiring networking event. The event focuses on personal experiences, career journeys and the question of what it takes to successfully start and develop a career in Germany.
Join for an inspiring talk and moderation by Dîlan Sina Balhan on “Beyond Diversity: Between Opportunity, Stereotypes and Overadaptation at Work.” Together, they will explore opportunities, cultural nuances and unwritten rules in the German workplace, as well as how migration experiences can become a strength in professional life.
Their role models will share insights into their personal career journeys, important decisions and challenges they encountered when entering the German labour market. Afterwards, the networking session with snacks and refreshments will offer an opportunity to exchange experiences, make new connections and engage in informal conversations.
The event will take place in English. However, participants are welcome to switch to German during the discussions and Role Model Sessions.
