040x040 Hamburg Picnic

What is it about?
040×040 is a curated exchange program between Hamburg and Malmö at the intersection of urban development, innovation, and design. To mark its 10th anniversary, we’ll explore Hamburg’s urban transformation by bike in a small group: we’ll start at SPACE with a networking breakfast, then head from the former publishing house on Baumwall (Julia Erdmann/JES Socialtecture) to the Gröninger Hof (Björge Kohler: transforming a parking garage into cooperative housing), the Oberhafen creative district, the foodlab in HafenCity, and a creative studio, all the way to the Hilldegarden Bunker with rooftop views and a glimpse of Lichtblick’s Rainbow Solar installation at the Millerntor Stadium.
