Hamburg Kreativ Gesellschaft mbH is looking for a full-time project manager (f/m/d) for a new AI conference for the nextMedia.Hamburg initiative as soon as possible.
Hamburg Kreativ Gesellschaft is the largest municipal institution for the promotion of the creative industries in Germany. In November, nextMedia.Hamburg is organizing a new, one-day conference for the German-speaking media and digital industry. The focus will be on how artificial intelligence is changing the industry now and in the future. The event is aimed at decision-makers and AI strategists who are looking for insights, inspiration and practical approaches for the strategic use of AI.

These are your tasks:
In one sentence: You will support the conception and be responsible for the implementation of a new conference for specialists and managers from the media industry, which will focus on the topic of "Artificial Intelligence", primarily from a technological, strategic and economic point of view.
You hold the strings together and are the first point of contact for sponsors, partners, service providers and participants.
You act as the central interface to a main partner and ensure smooth cooperation.
Together with a main partner and many other partners, you curate the content of the conference and are able to attract suitable speakers for the conference.
Together with a communications manager, you are responsible for ensuring that the communication surrounding the conference generates appropriate attention.
You will acquire third-party funds via partners and sponsors.
You are responsible for ticket sales for the conference
You are responsible for the conference budget allocated to you and regularly coordinate this with the management.
You contribute to key figure-oriented reporting.
What you bring to the table:
You have a degree or completed vocational training in a suitable field such as business administration, technology or communications.
You already have some professional experience in implementing specialist events and working with partners and service providers.
Audio, digital publishing, journalism, digital business models, platform economy and the latest technologies such as AI - these are topics you are passionate about.
Ideally, you have already dealt with the topic of AI professionally.
You have gained experience in the media industry and understand how to communicate content in a way that generates reach.
Ideally, you have a network of organizations in the advertising, publishing, music, film and software industries as well as the media-related start-up scene.
You live in (or are moving to) Hamburg, as you will be representing the conference.
The position should preferably be full-time (100% = 40 hours per week) and is initially limited to two years.
